🏈 Chris Black Transferring?

I took my young son to the Western Carolina game, the one where Brodie tore his ACL. A lot of people raised holy hell about Shula leaving Brodie in that late, but I got it. The offense wasn't clicking at all. The TDs were a short-yard situation because of a turnover, a punt return, and I think pick six...There may have been another offensive TD. Brodie threw two passes to Hall in the end zone, one of which went right through Hall's hands.

I think if Hall catches at least one of those, Brodie is able to come out of the game and maybe...maybe we wouldn't have lost him for the season.

Nope, never blamed Shula for that loss. Hall, yes.

Come on man, that is a MASSIVE reach.

You can see the differences in QBs. He rarely ever losses his cool with Coker, no matter the mistake, but he would absolutely verbally destroy AJ. I think Brodie Croyle would have been truly special if Nick Saban was his coach, or he would have left the team one or the other. Better knees would have helped too.

Better Oline would have made the biggest impact... we had ZERO oline when he was QB... I still see Honk if you sacked Brodie bumper stickers...

I don't blame the kid at all. He see's he likely won't see the field after 4 years, has 1 shot left, and wants to give it a shot elsewhere. He was a big time recruit and never really got consistent playing time, but never openly complained or made a fuss. I respect that. And lastly he's been battling injuries most of his career pretty much since he got on campus... Hopefully he finds success
He never complained publicly, publiclyI at least. I parked in the commuter lot behind fraternity row a few semesters ago, and would eat at Bryant Dining hall sometimes on the way to or from class . He was behind me in line one day, and we started talking ball. One of the first things he said was complaining about not playing, and when he was in, hardly ever targeted.

Back to the original post... Wasn't Black part of the class with Eddie Williams and Brent Calloway? Man, those are 3 guys that came in with tons of talent, potential, and rating stars. Black's struggles had nothing to do with the other 2 guys but still... Dang. Those guys all came in as studs.
