what hit 'em. This Bama team knows where they should be playing post season. They will be making a statement. Period. The rest of you goomers split some hairs for me and convince me otherwise.

Chokelahoma ain't gonna know

I just had a beer from Maine Brewing Company called "Another One". Definitely in my top 5 all time beers. It's an IPA, 7% ABV. "Pliny the Elder" by Russian River is my number one though: double IPA, 8% ABV.

I dont drink but I do have a 6-pack of these

I enjoy Dogfish Head's offerings, 60 Minute IPA (6% ABV) with food, and 90 Minute (9%) or Burton Baton (10%) w/o food. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale or Pale Ale, local Atlanta's Sweetwater and Red Hare both have good IPAs, and Terrapin Hopsecutioner (Athens, GA) it good, too. On the lighter side, I enjoy Stella with a nice dinner and Shiner Bock or Yuengling for slumming. I got my introduction to Yuengling hiking through Pennsylvania on the Appalachian Trail in 1995 - 65 cents a glass in Port Clinton - and then it showed up on the Gulf Coast the next year before its Atlanta debut behind Bud's distribution muscle.

Two of my favorites right there, Tim! Just discovered Terrapin and it was really a nice brew.

Terrapin's good, and has good distribution at restaurants I frequent. I don't know how often you make it down 75, but there is a Marlow's on Chastain between 75 and 575 that has good, casual food and a decent selection (nothing like the Taco Mac across the street - the selection is more sparse and the food is actually good). Try the grit cakes as a side. Of course, it would be tough for me to drive past Appalachian Grill in Cartersville if I was looking for a good meal.

We actually have a small brewery in Kennesaw now, Burnt Hickory Brewery. I just learned of them a few months ago, although they've been in production for over a year. burnthickorybrewery.com

Appalachian Grill is our restaurant of choice in this area. Never had a bad meal there. For beer selection, they have a pretty good one (again, not like taco mac) at a place in Jasper called "Rocco's Pub". Great bar food and chili and all the local brews, usually on draft. If you are ever in the area, a great seafood place in Canton called "Goin' Coastal". That would be a place I think you would really enjoy. (I work in Ball Ground)

I will be giving Marlow's a try. I love good shrimp and grits so "grit cakes" intrigue me!

Nothing is better in the USA than Penn Pilsner from Penn Brewery in Pittsburgh.

Our flagship beer.
2001 - GOLD MEDAL - National Beverage Tasting Institute
An amber-colored Vienna-style lager beer. Soft, elegant, and complex, with just enough Noble hop presence to provide a balanced finish.

Anybody here on Untappd? It's basically a way to connect with friends, track your beers and the beers drank by others, check out good places to get beers, look up ratings of beers, find beers similar to ones you like, etc. It's a fun little app, I use it frequently to keep track of what I drink.
