🏈 Changes coming to Ann Arbor

Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon is resigning and will not return next season, a source told ESPN's Brett McMurphy.

The university will hold a news conference Friday afternoon.

Brandon has been at the center of controversy all season, including the football team's mishandling of quarterback Shane Morris' head injury and issues with students' ticket prices.

Scapegoat.

How so? From what I've read, AD Brandon lost support of the board, donors, and the fans.

Not to mention some of his emails he sent out to some of the fans/alumni's. See them here > http://mgoblog.com/content/david-brandon-i-suggest-you-find-new-team

I don't see Hoke surviving another season.

Seriously, why respond to this email...you'd think the former CEO of Domino's Pizza would know better than this.

I think the scapegoat comment from @TerryP is in reference regarding the injury to the QB. They are laying the blame on him so lets cut him loose. I read somewhere that there were several within the athletic department sending around a petition supporting the AD. The higher ups got wind of it and weren't too happy either.
AD first then Hoke's head rolls next!

Miles, Mullen, Freeze, and the Harbaugh boys will be on their short list I would imagine. They had better knock the dust off of that checkbook IF they expect to be relevant again.

I guess it depends on who they get for the AD but I don't see Petrino either. You have to think Mullins will get some attention from anyone looking for a coach and I am sure since it is Michigan, Miles name will get tossed around in the media. Harbaugh's name will probably get the most press at this point.
