Looks like the committee was thoroughly impressed with Oregon's win at Utah and unimpressed with the F$U win. Barn loses to a 23pt dog AT HOME and only falls 6 spots. Ole Piss stays in the top 10 as well. Arizona State gets a ton of love for their thrashing of Notre Lame.

I agree with Mr. Chase. Win and you're in. Focus on your team and the things you can control. We all know a one loss or better SEC team is in, so no need to worry. Beat Bully, Western Carolina, The Barn, and most likely Georgia and you're a shoe in. No one in the country would have wins like LSU, Mississippi State, Auburn, and total destruction of Texas A&M to go along with a decent out of conference game against West Virginia. Who cares about the rankings this week, because it's the ones in December that matter.

You're right mrchase. We win out and we're in. I can't help but see some anti-SEC or anti-Bama bias in this, though. We beat the team that beat Auburn 59-0. And they placed TCU ahead of us. TCU beat West Virginia by a score of 31-30, with a last second score to win. We win out and it will not matter. Prejudice or not, we are in.

I don't see this college playoff selection committee lasting too long. It's too subjective, using people too inexperienced. I give it two years max. When they change it, I hope they go all the way and make it an eight team playoff, but that is probably many years off.

GRRR! Pissed off! Indignity! Now, take off the crimson colored glasses. This is a mess, but we have not played any where near a cosistant game yet. When we win out, we're in. This play off committee is a joke though and everyone in the country knows this, even TCU and Baylor.

All because they had some injuries along the offensive line.

IF Oregon gets a break because of those injuries, why isn't Ohio State?

I think they did. They and their weak ass schedule just vaulted to near the top six. To me, that's what this whole committee nonsense is about. Somehow, someway, the Little 10 will be a factor in the national championship.

How many ties does B10 have on the committee? Five?
