This is really some in-depth research you've compiled here Jeremy. I value what can be drawn from various statistics and this spells out a lot of things this season.

soooooo, this writer is saying that, at the time, a 1 loss USC team should've been ranked ahead of an unbeaten Florida and Alabama? :headscratch:

...enough said

he did get one thing right though, he is less important to CBS than the SEC.

1. This guy is a moron!
2. If he thinks that, lets just have a playoff and see which team would consistently finish on top.
3. Kentucky's defense could have held Oregon to less than 47 point last week.
4. Arguements and clowns like this is why is needs to be settled on the field.

It's not the first time he's "stepped out on a limb" or perhaps it's better said "stepped into a pile..."

Darren let loose on Doyel back at the end of June for one of his "pieces" where he was attacking something Finebaum said about Meyer.

It's an interesting read looking back at the "Meyer to ND" conversations.

While I only specified this one person here he is certainly not the only one who has such an opinion. I think a lot of times it is caused by the over dosage of the media cramming things down our throats that we are consistently looking for something negative to point out about these teams in hopes that maybe the attention will level out. A good example would be Tebow.. Personally I think the guy is awesome and exactly the type of guy I would hope one of my daughters eventually bring home but I'll be damned if I am not going to celebrate when he graduates as hopefully I will hear his name a little less. Bama and FL have been pushed through the media all year so far so any knock against them is going to garner some backlash.
