Fresno St will be on ESPN next weekend or the SEC? So the following game Col. St. should be on ESPN it being at 6 pm. But the Vandy game it is at Vandy could it be on CBS? How long will it be before we know which games CBS will be showing that day?

Saturday, Sept. 9 — TCU at Arkansas (3:30 p.m.)
Saturday, Sept. 16 — Tennessee at Florida (3:30 p.m.)
Saturday, Sept. 23 — SEC Game of the Week (3:30 p.m.)
and here are the game for that day .

Arkansas vs. Texas A&M (Arlington)
Mississippi State at Georgia
Florida at Kentucky
Syracuse at LSU
Auburn at Missouri
Louisiana Tech at South Carolina
UMass at Tennessee
Alabama at Vanderbilt

IMO, not likely. Several better match ups during the weekend that will allow CBS to get the aTm, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn and Arkansas games later in the season. CBS can't be the Crimson Broadcasting System.

The TAMU/Arky has been on ESPN the last few years and CBS had the UF/Tenn game on the last 2 years.

I'd it's either Bama/Vandy, TAMU/Arky, UGA/Miss State, or the Syracuse/LSU game. We were on CBS 5 times last year (Ole Miss, Tenn, TAMU, LSU, and Auburn). ESPN picked up our Kentucky game for what it's worth.

Number of times a team was on CBS last year (regular season)...

Alabama, 5
Florida, 5
Tenn, 5
Georgia, 3
TAMU, 2
Auburn, 2
UCLA, 0
Missouri, 1
TAMA, 1
Ole Miss, 1
Arkansas, 1
LSU, 1
South Carolina, 1
Kentucky, 0

Alabama tv coverage by network last year (regular season). Zero ESPN3 games...
CBS, 5
ESPN, 3
ESPN2, 2
SECN, 1
ABC, 1

Good for Vandy. When was the last time they were on CBS at home?
I thought about that as soon as I saw the announcement. How on earth I remember this? No freakin' clue.

The last time was when they hosted UGA two years ago...Bama was playing MTSU...the thing that popped in my mind was Ronnie Harrison blocking a punt that weekend. It was the first time that had happened in a few years for Bama. I can't recall what channel Bama played on that weekend but do remember Vandy being on CBS that afternoon.

Good for you @rick4bama ! I'm glad I was wrong for your sake. And that just goes to prove that I usually don't know what I'm talking about.
Good for Vandy too, I guess.

About it being on the TV now. It like the old Archie Campbell song "That's Good, That's Bad" That's Good it on TV! Bad it on TV. Why I have and outing with my Sunday School Class to go to the restaurant in Anniston, Top of the River. I do hope to see at least half of the game any way.
