Wide receiver Cavin Ridley, younger brother of five-star Alabama signee Calvin Ridley, who was the No. 1-ranked receiver in 2015, recently spoke to Bleacher Report about his recruitment and thoughts on the Crimson Tide.
The younger Ridley is a four-star prospect and the No. 39-ranked wide out in the 2016 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Cavin gave his thoughts on the possibility of joining his brother in Tuscaloosa and duplicating -- in more ways than one -- the production All-American wide out Amari Cooper saw in 2014.
"What we would do at Alabama if me and my brother played, we would be double Amari Coopers, that's what we would do together," Cavin said. "We would be double Amari Coopers together."
Cavin stands at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds and hails from Pompano Beach, Fla. While attending Monarch High School, Cavin grew to love the sport of football, playing alongside his older brother.
"I got into football with my brother," Cavin said. "I saw how good he was, he's No. 1 in his class, 2015. He'll be going to Alabama. He's a good role model. If I want to live up to his name, I've got to do something very good.
"I don't want to just go places and people be like 'Oh, that's just Calvin's brother.' No, I want them to be like 'Oh, that's Calvin's brother right there. He's good, too, just as well.' I try to live up to his name."
Cavin said Calvin offers him advice on the recruiting process, telling him to stay humble. He also told Bleacher Report of a previous trip to Alabama and his experience around Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban.
"The things (Calvin) tells me about Alabama is that he feels home there. He loves it," Cavin said. "He likes the environment, he loves the coaches.
"When I went, I was able to talk to Nick Saban, and Nick Saban actually told me every seat there (in Bryant-Denny Stadium) is filled with fans and the people just love you there. I was really embracing that a lot."
Alabama is currently in the lead to land Ridley's services with a 100-percent advantage, according to The Crystal Ball.
