FWIW, Wolf had Texas ranked number one before this past weekend. Asmussen had them at number two with UF has his number one.

Not a big deal IMO.

Now, Tom Hart (CBS), John Clay (Lexington), and Adam Van Brimmer (Savannah) both have TCU and Cincy ranked higher than Texas. That's questionable if you ask me.

Of course, it's important to remember...just what does the AP poll count for?

There is question as to who was the better team in the Texas/Nebraska game...I dont't see how anyone could vote Texas #1, if they actually followed the two biggest games of the weekend.

I would think in both cases it's just voters trying to make sure that TCU does not jump Texas in the BCS.

So. Cal is still clinging to that AP NC they "won" when LSU won the BCS. What did they finish this year? Sixth in the Pac10?

Those two voters obviously have to be writers outside of the SEC otherwise they would be considered crackheads or worse. Bama put a major beatdown on UF and the only other time I have seen UF manhandled like that up front was when my beloved HOGS played them and really put them on their heels. The only difference was that Bama got the calls and the major difference was that your offensive line really man handled the UF defensive line. It was almost like watching men playing boys.

Congratulations on a great season and putting UF in their place. I did, however, find it a bit offensve that the scripture on Tebow's picture was defaced as it was, but I am sure it was done without any malicousness meant to the LORD.

Once again, congratulations on laying a beat down on the Gators and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE lay a similar if not greater beat down on the Longhorns. I still can't, for the life of me, understand how they got 1st place votes after barely escaping a loss to Nebraska. That was petty lame!!
