I am posession of a brand new Ingram Jersey.

Now, I have been wearing my Stabler jersey every game for the last....I don't even know how many years.

So, the new jersey came yesterday, and my H was saying "That will be worn on Saturday!" but then he starts saying "Well, I don't know....you don't want to mess with tradition....don't want to change up your routine...." etc. And now I am a silly, stupid, freak, who can't decide when/how to break in a new jersey.

I then decided I could wear the new one today and the old one tomorrow. Fridays are usually Bama shirts of some kind, but not necessarily a jersey.

Y'all think I'm crazy, don't you. anic:

well i had the same thing last week, my dad and myself have been wearing the same shirt to all of the games since last season but last week i had the new rolltidebama shirt and we had to break them in but we was a little worried as well

I got a new Bama cap last season, as I do most years. Started to get a new one for this year and my wife reminded me that the old one was undefeated. I'm still wearing that cap every game day. 19-0 now.

Same thing happened to me. I got a new Bama shirt the week of the Arkansas game. I wore it during that game for the first half and then changed back into my usual jersey that I've worn for the past 4 years at halftime. I'll never do that again! :lol:

Listen, the clothes you wear or how you go through your own personal routine do not impact the outcome of the game. My dad is one of those overly superstitious types. He typically wears the same shirt, jeans, and boots to every game. I'm assuming he washes them. LOL He always sits in the seat to my left (8). He usually puts the same 4 flags on the car and carries a rabbits foot in his pocket. He does the same if he's watching at home adding a bottle of Guinness pre-game.

Oh the horror when we arrived at campus last week and he realized he didnt have his rabbits foot in his pocket. I had to talk him off the ledge. Guess what they won, big!

Wear your new jersey and if Alabama loses it wont be because of your clothing choice. Its okay, retire #12 and try on #22.

...no need to worry. It just so happens my wife :wife: is wearing 'THE' lucky Alabama short sleeve with the Script A.

She wasn't wearing the first half of Arkansas and I made her go put it on. You saw what happened.

We're also 19-0 with it.

So, feel free to wear what you like. As long as the wife wears that shirt, we're golden.

Of course I know it has nothing to do with what you wear... Just a funny story. Regardless, I'm still gonna wear my usual jersey just in case!

When my wife buys a new game shirt ( way more often than I want to admit) she either keeps it in the bag for one game, or brings the old shirt in a bag for one game...

i've been wearing the same bama t shirt for going on 10 years now. it has been pushed down to just being an undershirt now that there are holes in the shoulders and the fabric is spreading apart though. got it as one of the $5 t shirts a long time ago. definitely got my 5 bucks worth. lol.
