this was from the Dallas News on Saturday 5/30 about the Waldrep family (I suspect some of you will remember his name from the 1974 game). I've posted a few things before about Celina and them being a football powerhouse here about 30 miles north of Dallas.

What Alabama officials did for Trey, they've done for Charley, too. Calling yet another Bryant Scholarship "an incredible gesture of love and compassion," Kent looks forward to the 9 ½-hour drive to Alabama even more, especially now that one of his sons will play for the Crimson Tide.
