Has anyone sat in the first row of the lower level, and if so is your view totally blocked by the players? Is your depth perception going to suffer...I'm assuming all the above, but i'm curious to hear someones experience.

I dont think you wanna sit there. Your to low and your view will be blocked by the players on the sideline.

I had season tickets on row 4 one year and HATED it. I would rather watch the games on TV. Standing on the ramp to the Upper Deck is better than being that low.

Sitting on row 1 on the sides is very bad. You cant see at all. And televised games are worse because of the camera sled if you are on the home side.

"Being there" has to be important to you. Seeing the ins-n-outs of the game just can't be done like it can with some elevation, or how else would you explain coaches in the pressbox? One does have the Jumbotrons to help explained what you missed, but... :roll: :?

Low seats in the endzones have a little something extra that 50yrd line seats don't, that is having scoring happen in your lap. R. Johnson's Pick Six two weeks ago came right at me. He was literally 5-8 yards from me and my son when he flew threw the endzone celebrating. Of course scores at that other end almost become worthless until that Jumbo tron shows it. But still, cool moment for LBS jr.

You know what EA - if it's your only way in then those are great seats. If you're behind the Alabama bench even better. You get a real feel for what goes on behind the scenes.

Depends on your point of view......

row 1 on the sidelines is entirely too low to see the action (other than jumbo tron)about 90% of the time.

There is certainly a different feel of just being in the stadium though!

ALso its quite interesting to watch the activity that happens on the sidelines during the course of the game.

Seeing how massive the players are is a sight also.

Since we're talking sideline seating, what's the consensus on what row is high enough to view the game? Delta, you've mentioned you're on row 15 for 20, right?

What's the cutoff for a fan wanting to watch the action on the field?

Tim, I'm about $10,000 short of the 15 or 20.

I'm on row 6, and I'll admit it's sometimes hard to see the action. I traded that for the atmosphere and experience though. And the fact that lately I can't watch half the game anyway. :wink:

Oh, one other great point in being low. When you're too nervous and have to have space you're that much closer to the sidewalk/portal. :lol:

I ended up sitting on about row 20 on the visitor's 45 at the Ole Miss game and I could see great. The only thing better would have been being on the Bama side. I had a tremendous time!

Not bad seats @ all. I have sat there a few times. You will be able to see the plays open up nicely. The walk up kinda sucks but it is great exercise.

Front row of east or west upperdeck are the best seats in the house, imo.
