Browns want to interview former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice

While intriguing as an idea, it falls apart once you think about it. She is a very smart woman and does know a lot about football, but she has never coached before. I could see her getting a position with a team of some sort for sure but not as a coach.
I really think they may have been going to contact her for a search committee position, not the actual HC position. Some moron heard something and ran with the wilder story. It may be an inept organization but even they would be unlikely to seriously interview someone with zero coaching experience.

Yes, let's blame the media.

Probably the most intelligent female on the planet

How you even begin to qualify that statement? Just curious :D

Bama fan.....thats how....
Now if she really is a Browns fan...umm..that might neutralize it...

Psst...not all Bama fans are smart.... :sneaky:;)

No @PurlJam ...they certainly are not..however ones that were Secretary of State probably are ...and dang good one at that... and a fine lady.....

I do in today's world of social media. Everybody is in too big of a hurry to break news. They don't take the time to verify anymore. Also, very shaky blogs are being used as source material these days. Anybody that can string a few words together is suddenly a journalist. Journalism has always had some hacks, see Furman Bisher. There are just way more of them in today's internet, instant satisfaction, climate. Even TV is much different than it once was. Go back to guys like Cronkite, no matter their personal beliefs, they did not let it affect their reporting of the news. They did not inject their opinion into the news, they just reported it. Now we have none of those types anymore, either they are pushing one party agenda or the other.

And then there are those just trolling the illiterate on Facebook...

Very sad how many people have gone from doing many things, to doing nothing but sitting behind a computer. Get busy living, or get busy dying.
