Alright heres what I heard. My roommate is friends with a girl that Deadrick's gf lives with. She called my roommate right after it happened and he took her to the hospital. She said that Deadrick and the gf pulled up at the apartment complex and when they got out of the car a guy ran up and shot him twice then Deadrick chased him off. Ambulance came and got him. Thats what I heard.

Just to help reassure people too, this should probably be said;

From the reports coming out AT THIS MOMENT (and some are from people that might know something, while other are not)...Deadrick was shot in the arm and in the leg. This is nothing life threatening by the initial sounds of it. From what I've heard (multiple times) it was in one forearm and one thigh.

I guess what I'm saying is, it could have been a lot worse. Hopefully that is the long and the short of it as far as injuries go.

Well, don't thank me yet guys. Things could end up badly. I'm not saying they will, but info is hard to come by at this point. Actually....reliable info is hard to come by at this point, given the info flying around the internet and phone lines is about as discombobulated as it can be.

Imagine the best case scenario, then the worst case scenario, and you may end up with something in between.

Hopefully things will end up okay, but all we really know now is that Deadrick was shot twice (which is confirmed), in one arm and in one leg (which I suspect to be true).

All kinds of stories and rumors are coming out now though, regarding this. Just stay tuned.

I know that Porter is following this closely and when Terry gets on in the A.M he should have some good info as well. I'll try to keep my ear to the ground in the meantime to pass along anything breaking.

The femoral artery runs through the thigh. It's a major artery. That doesn't mean that Deadrick had his ruptured, though. Hang in there and we'll get things figured out ASAP.

Not to simply dismiss your concerns BA. Yes, if Deadrick was shot in the thigh it could end up very badly. There is a major artery in the leg that, when ruptured, can kill you. We just don't know yet that this is the case, so we're not going to talk a lot about it. I'm like you though. I've been hearing a lot since this broke, and some of the info I've heard is worst-case scenario. Let's just keep in mind that this is the 'net and everyone has a source, right? A lot get's posted that may not be factually accurate at the end of the day. Let's keep on this and see how things start to play out. We'll get the info out ASAP, once we get it.
