Alabama wasn't close to facing any penalties for its 2010-11 NCAA academic performance rate scores.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama didn't see much movement at all from its NCAA academic performance rate scores of last year to the ones that were released today.
That's the kind of news the Crimson Tide was hoping to receive.
Only women's rowing saw a significant drop from its 2009-10 score, falling 12 points from 970 to 958. But that's still 33 points higher than the old NCAA minimum and 28 more than the new, 930-point barrier that will be instituted next year.
Translation: Alabama is in a relatively healthy place when it pertains to APR.
