🏀 Bracketology 2020-21 season.- Selection Sunday (Bama to face Iona)

He was looking for a way out of this season, early. The results were terrible, his team chemistry was non-existent. Now their season is over. Frankly, it's what he wanted the entire time and he'll save some face now that another early NCAA exit isn't coming from a game standpoint.

And he took the opportunity to preach about the pandemic blah blah blah. Every mf’er with a microphone in their face thinks it is their moment to preach to all us dirty swine that have no comprehension of the blue plague that has stricken us because of our piss poor hygiene and conservative beliefs

And he took the opportunity to preach about the pandemic
That is a part of what I was driving at with this comment earlier.
Thankfully, it's beginning to expose where Coach K can't wear as many crowns as he believes he can.
Coach K has been the face of college basketball for a good while now. It's deserved due to his success, right? So, if he assumes a role a lot like Saban has in football I don't really fault him for voicing his opinion(s.) Let him be an ambassador for the sport.

However, at what cost? It's my opinion that drew his attention away from his team and their development this season. We all know he can coach but I'll be damned if we didn't see much of that this season.

There were a good many who got upset when Oats made his comments earlier this season on Coach K and Duke. We saw a lot come to K's defense; "how can he say such about the man?!?!" That was enough to go straight to his head, "look at who I am."

Now, combine all three? A lot of crowns he's trying to wear.

Deadline for schools to inform NCAA they can't meet tournament medical protocol in time for first round is 11 p.m., tonight. Teams are being required to produce seven consecutive days of negative test results in order to play. Duke, Virginia, and Kansas withdrew from their respective conference tournaments yesterday.

They only need 5 to play correct? Seems like that is doable with basic distancing in place unless they have a major break out.

That's the way I understand this to be. I don't know how they'll work their contact tracing. Take UVA with their one positive test and the entire team was in a dogpile the night before last. What do they do?

Yeah not sure of the details but you can be around someone for brief periods but not sure how a dogpile would factor in. It all comes down to actual virus exposure so in reality no one knows...

With Michigan losing to OSU, if Bama beats LSU tomorrow, they should be a 1 seed ... right? If so that’s probably even more of a pleasant surprise to me than anything else in sports in quite a while. The Tide winning their 6th NC in 12 seasons wasn’t really a surprise. To be honest I never thought Bama would become a BB powerhouse but the way they’re starting to recruit ... who knows?

135 brackets released as of this morning. Alabama is the #1 seed in two, they are the #3 seed in one, and a #2 seed in the remaining 132 projections. In the brackets where Bama is #1 Illinois is #2 in one and Michigan is on the two line in the other.

Based on that I don't see Bama getting the nod. The question is going to be are they in the Michigan or Illinois bracket.

JL updated this morning @TerryP interesting draw for the Tide.

I didn't realize it until a few minutes ago that Bama is the only major program that has won its regular season and tournament title. I still don't believe they'll get a bump from today's game—historically the committee doesn't take a lot of value on Sunday's unless it's winning your way in—but I'd put their resume up against at least one of the teams on the one line.

I'm guessing that would be Mich
