BTW, we now need a consensus from guys covering NCAABB on what is the first round: Palm has the play-in games listed as first round games.

Decent strength of schedule. Right now, beating the Vols and the Aggies looks better than it will later on.

Palm's logic/choices here are reasonable in my opinion. (I tend to trust his more than Mandel's, as well.)

It's no secret RPI has a big effect on selections; especially these choices writers make on which teams are in and which teams are out. While there are no wins against teams in the top 25 of the RPI rankings, there are two against teams ranked 25-50. The team standing overall is in the top 50. Strength of schedule is helping, non conference RPI is giving them a boost, and these are just a few of the reasons.
