Boxing legend and "The Greatest of All Time" Muhammad Ali passes away

His mouth, his words, his candor with Howard Cosell was always as memorable as his fights. His fight with Parkinson's was a tough fight as well; still he carried the Olympic torch. Rest in peace, Champ.

Personally, I'm tired of this love fest—especially from some of those who are crafting him as some sort of hero for dodging the draft.
When I see people laud that move, the same people I've seen criticize candidates for being in the National Guard during war times, it just turns my stomach.

Hell of a fighter. Hell of an entertainer. My respect stops there.

I with you on this, he could really get into the mind of the other fighter too.

Great fighter, no question about it. He was also a great entertainer for the boxing world BUT...HE IS NOT A HERO! A lot of men and women did not have a personal quarrel with an enemy but they sacrificed their lives so we can live in the greatest country in the world. That sacrifice allows people to be allowed to burn our flag, say bad things about America and voice displeasure over just about anything. Those folks who made that ultimate sacrifice are true heroes!
