One could argue subbing new defensive lineman is nonsense. Depends on perspective.
I didn't watch the game last night. Just flipped on the TV a few minutes ago and one of the first things I noticed was Auburn subbing five defensive linemen.
I understand where you're coming from with that post, but I still maintain there needs to be a balance with how the officiating crews handle games involving a HUNH. They still speed up their movements for one team but not the other.
To me that's a question that needs addressing.

I don't think that's a big deal if they're adding legitimate selectors—but one of the years he's suggesting is 2004. A year they were voted national champ by a kids computer poll (which was changed when USC overtook Auburn in the voting) and Golf Digest.
