🏈 Bovada releases "Way Too Early Heisman Odds" for 2017

LOL, JT Barrett.

Baker won't be running at the combine next year, it's a shame because I think it would be awesome to edit that 40 footage with a police officer tackling him.

Darnold's throws later in the season were impressive.

I would love to see Jalen win it next year. Haters be like :bolt:

Lamar Jackson and the Lousiville offensive scheme was the poster child for who makes who. Florida State spent all afternoon trying to figure out what direction Jackson went much less trying to tackle him. At other times, Houston and LSU for example, Jackson looked like a total fraud, hiding behind a pile of stats. I can reasonably say that I never saw Jalen Hurts fail to answer in a Bama game, unlike last year's Heisman winner.

He does have that moxie coupled with ice water for blood. He delivered the go ahead score against Clemson with time ticking out. Our defense just couldn't hold. They were gassed. That, and a couple of illegal pick plays helped squash Jalen's heroic and would-be winning touchdown on the biggest stage in the biggest moment.

Really..wow...i see just the opposite...we shall see..BO is an awesome specimen. Growing body has to get stronger...speed of AUs BO...power of UGAs Walker...scarey!!! Scarey good for us..[/QUOTE

You are right. He is an awesome physical specimen. I just don't see us riding him like we did Henry ,and I think that is what it takes to be a Heisman trophy winner as a running back.

That wasn't the case with Ingram though there were a good many trying to push Toby Gerhart that season due to Stanford riding him. The game against UofSC put Ingram over the top much like the game against LSU was the first game that really put Derrick in the picture (if not sealing it for him since it was on such a national stage.)

Just too many horses in the stables to "have to ride Bo for 250+ carries". With Henry, we didn't have a true 2nd guy due to Drake being banged up for varying amounts of time. Bo has Harris, Jacobs, Emmons, Robinson, and some "other" Harris guy to ease the load for him.

I don't see either Jalen or Bo in NYC for that simple reason. I'll be a happy camper if they choose to hit them with speed and then power in the second half or vice-versa.

Honestly, as long as I don't see the QB getting 50 more carries on the season versus the running backs?

But no, I don't see him getting that many carries. There's no reason for him to do so.

O...13 games....most on major networks...15-16 carries a game with one or so with 25+..... remember the quote from Clemson players when he got hurt... glad he was outta game..tired of tackling him..or trying...
If...if...he can stay healthy....250 carries isnt outta reach...
