📝 BOL is reporting that Altee Tenpenny has committed ('13 class)...

Ardarius Stewart, athlete from Fultondale, Ala., is one of the top athletes in the Southeast in the class of 2013. Stewart accounted for 52 touchdowns during his junior season and rushed for more than 2,000 yards as a quarterback. Stewart earned a scholarship offer from Alabama Saturday and pulled the trigger.
Ardarius Stewart becomes the second commitment of the day for the Crimson Tide. He is the sixth overall commitment for Alabama in the class of 2013. He is one of the elite players in the state and will rank as one of the top five overall recruits.

Stewart’s recruitment has taken flight with gear recent offers from Clemson, Tennessee and Utah. Alabama offered this morning at Junior Day.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete had a tremendous junior campaign rushing for 2,188 yards and 30 touchdowns on 199 carries. He passed for 1,419 yards with 20 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He added 48 tackles on defense, three interception
 
Wow - didn't see this coming. But the thought had crossed my mind that we weren't going to have the "big splash" national signing day that Saban loves to have around NSD. So much for that idea.

Let me see if I can get this right. We just landed 3 solid looking football players. One, who appears to be a highly rated 4-Star out of Little Rock...ANOTHER highly rated player out of New Orleans (when did this become so easy?), and an in-state stud (another 4-Star).

Tenpenny, the RB out of Little Rock, looks like he'll have a damn good chance at earning his 5th Star at some point during the next year. And it amazes me the success that Saban is having in Louisiana...that state has been locked down for a while now. Heck, he built part of that fence, I guess it's his right to tear it down!
