Thru twelve games 3,250 passing yards (Alabama record), completed 65% of his passes, 26 TD, ran for over 300 yards (making him shatter the total offense record for a season at Alabama) and 6 more TDs giving him 31 total TDs (Alabama single season record); against Florida had over 460 total yards (single game Alabama record); won 11 games and the SEC Championship with a birth in the first ever CFB Playoffs and a shot at national championship in his first year as a starter... As a guy that so many "experts" (on TV and internet forums alike *wink* *wink*) said not only couldn't win but that simply was not good enough to start at Alabama... I seem to recall certain people saying that Alabama would lose 3-4 with Sims at QB... I for one am proud as hell of Mr. Sims. There has not been a more satisfying bunch of crowe passed out for meals.

Most passing yards in a season, also total yards in a season because of his rushing yards he already owned. Hes the only Alabama QB to ever amass 3,000 total yards (AJ had 3,000 passing but went back to under 3,000 cause of negative rushing yardage).
