lmao knew this was gonna piss of some people. Lets go ahead and get this out of the way... its prolly just something for the fans... BUT Lets be honest here, dont tell me those wouldnt look slick as hell for a game like the pro combat jerseys. Dont shoot me, Im just sayin.
 
:lol: I'm not opposed to uniform alterations as a one time thing, but I've never been a fan of black jerseys for teams with no black in their color scheme. Regardless it wouldn't be the end of the world, and at least would be interesting. I'm wondering though since the description does claim the players will be wearing it for "the blackout game."

Though I doubt it's real. In a real game setting those numbers don't contrast enough.

NCAA Rulebook says something that makes this jersey seem unlikely as an official jersey.

Jerseys must have clearly visible, permanent Arabic numerals measuring at least 8 and 10 inches in height front and back, respectively, and be of one solid color that itself is clearly in distinct contrast with the color of the jersey, irrespective of any border around the number.


 
I read something about on a jersey of that type the numbers can not be the same or close to the same color as the jersey itself. With that said it may be a cool item for fans but there is no way in hades that the Tide should ever wear anything but crimson or white. I did however like the special jersey we did a few years back with the houndstooth pattern around the neck and on the numbers, I'd actually like to have one of those.
