The former Penn State and Houston Texans coach will also be the quarterbacks coach in Tuscaloosa

Obviously it isn't final, and things can change, but this appears to be the dominant word regarding our next offensive coordinator.

Honestly I'm surprised that an assertive coach who took his team to the playoffs almost every year he was at Houston would take the job as our OC. Really speaks volume about the state of our program.

I can't really recall anything that stands out about him, but I know he did a good job with Penn State. If Deshaun Watson wasn't such a primadonna he may still be with the Texans. I look forward to this hire if it works out. I know there is no way to reach the heights we did this season with Sarkesian, so that is wiped from my mind. He'll be given the keys to the Ferrari, so it'll be interesting to see what he can do with so many weapons.

I don’t know about that. We scored on almost every possession the starters were in and still trying to score and not clock manage. Going to be hard to duplicate that.

Who are the 2-3 losses? I could see 1 to a bad game, but who on the schedule is a threat? In honesty, I don’t see us as the underdog in any of the matchups if healthy.

But we could get a few "game changers." Back ...thats not expected...

JMO the QB position is the key for Bama in 2021. We didn't see a lot from #9 this year but what we did see was pretty unimpressive (from ovah at my house). Could Paul Tyson actually be a player at QB? We sure need him to challenge.

We heard Tyson was challenging Bryce earlier in Fall Camp. Impressive size and a couple of years in the program will definitely put him in a good spot.

I think he’ll be just fine. I doubt he’ll be Mac accurate, but it’ll be fun to see his mobility for a change of pace.

Regardless of who starts... we’ll be fine.

What I saw was a guy that the game was way too fast for. His passing attempts (not that many) looked like Brandon Avalos.

again, he’s a true freshman with no spring limited fall and limited in season reps. I wouldn’t have expected anything different.
