as he leaves the University of Florida. I Pray that he returns to good
health and also pray for his family. People can say what they will BUT
football isn't everything. He was a great adversary and I enjoyed putting
L's on him and the Gators BUT hate to see him go like this.

It has got to be stressful coaching against someone as relentless as Saban. In all seriousness, I hope he can get things in check and enjoy his retirement. He doesn't ever need to work again if he's done anything at all with his income.

Urban, you have plenty. Relax and enjoy. You don't have to worry about Bama beating you twice next year.

Well, I understand to a point. However, it is hard for me to take it in stride that he is doing this because he knows what lies ahead. Florida isn't going to be heading anywhere for the next few years. Period. I know of many coaches that have issues with health but most stay with the job because it helps them "cope" with it all.

Nothing against Urban, he has done a hell of a job as a coach and he deserves nothing but props. Period !

I begin to wonder what else has played a role into his choice to up and quit being a coach. I think it has something other to do with then health issues.

I really wish the guy was easier to dislike. That would have made being an Alabama fan so much easier. But, he's a very likable guy. Like those have said, there IS more to life than football. I am praying for his health and I hope he finds happiness with his family. He's one hell of a competitor.

The matchup was very interesting to me a few hours ago, now i think Florida will destroy Cincy in a very emotional game with an amazing perfomance but all Florida players.

At least, i hope that...Urban deserves it

An indefinate leave instead of retirement. I'm glad. Like I said at the
beginning of this post I hated Meyer going out like this. Now he can
get some rest, come back and hopefully we can put some more L's
on him and the Gators. Next time he leaves hopefully it will be because
we beat him into retirement !!!!:a::elephant: Bama->:fight:<- Florida
