I run Jaunty with avant. I have vlc and all the gadgets. I also have a macbook.

I do have a M$ installation on a second HD that I can boot to if I need to.

The restricted codecs open up a lot of tools that enables you to forget windows exists. I actually find audio/video streaming to be better on my Linux machine than with Windows.

Running the Karmic Beta..........been very stable so far. I am waiting on the Lucid Lynx release, due April 2010. Will be a LTS release.

I was running Jaunty on my laptop and my desktop, but I got a free copy of Windows. Either way I use open source software for school/work/play daily and most of the time it's better anic:

OK - aside from all the computer capability chit chat, two things in the video and the stills give me chills. First of all, look at the still photo in BamaHeat's post - Julio is WELL over the rim in that pic. Totally skying. Even Cody is head and sholders above the linemen trying to block him. Then check out the video and THE FIRST kicked block. Cody absolutely blew the TN lineman off the line like he was a child. That has to be one of the most powerful blown-up blocks ever.
