OK, I have to ask .. What was he like in person? He died 7 years before I was born, so I'm bummed I never witnessed him in real life.

Another shop (Beveled Edge) has a football supposedly signed by both DH and Saban for only $50 more but that seems way too good to be true ..

That seems iffy, check their COA. If its just one they certify it's as useless as a bar of soap in an Auburn bathroom... Wait... I used that one already didnt I? It's as useless as a tooth brush in a Tennessee bathroom.

Get your DH stuff now, though definitely. I got all my Julio stuff when he was at Bama and after he got drafted. The autographed jersey I got when he first got drafted was 70 bucks, now the same thing would be in the 200s.

They ALWAYS look better on the white Alabama footballs to me. I got Julio to sign a football for me years ago (just a football I happen to have in my car) and I regret that its not the Alabama white one. Looks so much more slick. I'll take a picture of that one compared to the Shaun Alexander white one I have later and show you the differences next to each other.

White. My wife has a ball with Saban and a lot of the 2009 team on it that got signed after a game that year. It looks much better than the signed brown ball we have from a local arena league team. The white also seems to hold up a lot better over time.

i've got a helmet with those signatures. most prized possession in my collection.

Funny enough, Ingram and McElroy are not on it. I have another picture of the two together that I got them to sign. But it does have Dareus, Richardson, Lacy, Saban, and a bunch of others.

my helmet has most of the '09 team on it. it has all the starters on both offense and defense. i also have Greg's on a full-size #12 helmet that i had him sign at a session back in 2010. and to anyone who's never met him....VERY nice and VERY approachable person. he's very genuine and humble and easy to talk to.

1964 ball....with black ink....holding up pretty good....and can actually read who signed it..lol
