šŸˆ Be honest with yourself and all of us here. Who's better, Justin Fields or D'Eriq King?

Whose WR group do you consider better, the OSU unit last year or this Miami group?

Just about everyone is agreeing that the Bama defense is going to be better this year and has a real good chance to be special. But we still have a lot who think Miami gives the Tide a run for their money?

"OH, but Bama and mobile quarterbacks!!"

What was Justin Fields?

There’s a group of media analysts and writers who hope beyond hope Bama will lose to Miami. And if Bama does lose that game (which I don’t see happening), the same folks will immediately claim with glee the dynasty’s over. To your question … I don’t think Miami’s receivers are anywhere close to being as good as OSU’s were last year or this season for that matter. As for Field’s versus King … if King’s fully healed physically and mentally then he’s a much better running QB than Field’s but not as accurate a passer. However, it’s extremely rare to see a skill player come back physically complete and mentally confident from that kind of knee injury in 12 months much less in 8 months. Between late December of 2020 when he tore his ACL and game time with Bama next Saturday, he will have had zero contact. And he won’t get to play with a black jersey in that game … plus Bama’s defensive players won’t treat him with kid’s gloves. So, unless he’s superhuman he won’t be much of a true duel threat QB come Saturday which means he’ll have to beat Bama with his arm. That’s going to be impossible to do if Bama’s D is anywhere close to last year’s D … and they’re supposed to be much better.

I think one of the things that is forgotten about Fields last year was his injury from the Clemson game. I could definitely tell it affected him in that game & certainly against 'Bama.

However, this Miami QB just hasn't faced this defense. I think he is going to wake up in cold sweats weeks later after dreaming of Will Anderson & Co.

Also, I will not be surprised to see an offense that pulverizes the Miami D just to keep that 'mobile' QB on the bench. That too will drive him nuts having to anticipate what he is going to face.

1's are running against the scout team defense and that's where you'll find Young. Game week has been the same since he's been here. Tomorrow we'll get his grouping's chart and we'll have a presser with Saban. Game prep for Miami "officially" begins this week although they were going over Miami the last week of summer drills.

And NS probably been working on multiple teams since January

Until about the end of the spring going into the summer. They are following the same routine they have since he's been here.

A lot of research done on opponents before spring camp but they aren't concentrating on team by team prep for spring camp. The research is passed along before summer drills and then they start working on teams they'll play: starting with Auburn and ending with Miami (just a few weeks ago.)

IF there's a coaching change, I'm sure they are all back into the tape(s.)

Never-the-less, it doesn't change what's going on this week. Bryce is not working with the scout team offense.
