Let's go Michigan State and Duke!

Alabama becomes the 2nd team in BCS history to drop out of top 2 after spending 6+ weeks at Number 1 (Florida, 2009)

FSU is number 1 for first time since 1999

For us to go to Pasadena, we need Duke and Sparty to pull the upset. I believe we are all but guaranteed a spot in a BCS bowl game with the Orange being our likely destination.

I would say we're the top "at large" possibility. If Auburn gets into the Nattie we're def. in the Sugar Bowl I would imagine, otherwise you're right prolly Orange but I saw a scenario earlier that suggested the Rose Bowl wouldnt be out of the realm of possibility.

It would require Michigan State to drop from their current spot at #10 to #15. As I understand the selection process that would mean the B1G wouldn't have a team to fill their tie-in with the Rose.

ESPN had a stat this morning that the top two teams are 6-5 in the final weekend of the season over the past seven years. Indicates to me that you can expect at least one of the two to lose. Makes the SEC game pretty big.

Too bad the Orange has first pick over the Sugar for at-large teams... Would be nice, if FSU and OSU end up playing for the NC of course, if the Barn went to the Sugar and we were the 1st at-large team available... Just day dreaming I guess... Sure would be nice not to have to wait until next year to get some payback though...
