🏈 Baylor RB Silas Nacita: NCAA ruled him ineligible??

Another black eye for the NCAA...this one is a big one. School, football, and working is alot to put on a student athlete. Staying with someone without paying rent (being homeless) makes you ineligible with the NCAA.

I need to read more about this before I have a good opinion on it. I am curious how he's finding a way to save for Baylor's tuition at $34,480 a year. My initial thinking is that the NCAA doesn't really care about the "student" side of things...but then again, this isn't anything new.
 
The first I saw of this story was from Bruce Feldman. I'm assuming he saw Chris Low's re-tweet. It's shocking that neither took time to vet the story in the first place. :sarc:

 
this is another story with the ncaa involved that baffles me.

i really do wish and hope that the power 5 conferences say "Screw you" to the ncaa and govern themselves.
