The Big XII is doing their best to sneak 2 into the playoffs, something tells me Snyder is going to strike this weekend. The Big XII is pushing to change the requirements of a conference championship game with the NCAA in 2015...stay tuned on this.

Gonna be funny as hell if the first year of the College Football Playoff, the complaint is the 5th team...aka 3rd team in the BCS.

That being said, saw this tweet about the subject and it made me chuckle, thought I'd share.

Oh lord.

I would think a win over a ranked Kansas State would propel Baylor to #4, assuming Bama, FSU, and Oregon win out. And of course, Baylor did beat TCU. However, if Baylor beats KSU, then both Baylor and TCU will have beaten 3 ranked teams.

But if both Baylor and TCU win out, and we have two one-loss Big 12 teams, shouldn't there be some sort of tiebreaker, given the 'round robin' play of the Big 12?

That's the problem with having a selection committee; I'm sure they'll hear Baylor's cries. This could turn into a popularity contest, politically correct, scratch my back I’ll scratch yours or even money under the table for the last couple spots. Wouldn’t have had this potential problem with the BCS plus one; I know I’m probably over exaggerating the potential bad of this system, but that’s typically what happens when you put human beings in a place of authority.

Baylor's President is Ken Starr, he's pretty well connected I'd say.
