Finished up a job out side and watched the Womens NC game...what else is on, uh?
First wbb game in years.... the play is so different...but game was really exciting...right to last second..
Girls really are hard hitting and competitive.... probably a better game than tonight...with mens nc game
Congrats to Mulkey And Baylor....

She joins Coach Summit and Auriemo as a 3 time NC winner. I know she won as a player at Tech but I also think she won another as an assistant. The girls game is better fundamentally IMO, because it is played below the rim.

You sir, are a winner!!! No telling how many PE classes, pickup basketball games, and even basketball practices I have witnessed and all guys have been trying to do is dunk the ball. I will admit that 30+ years ago, I was one of those HS kids dunking during the water breaks at practice. It was the only time that our coach didn't get pissed at us for doing it or even trying. If you did it in his drills, you had best make damn sure you flushed it or it was 100 fingertip push ups.

Kim Mulkey was assistant at La Tech when HC Barmore stepped down
She wanted a long term contract ( like 4 years) to take HC job and LaTech President would not agree...she went to Baylor.....La Tech hasnt been heard from since...and Baylor has 3 nattys...

Before them, Delta State was a power in women's basketball if you are old enough to remember. Back then, basketball was just getting started on a high level.

Right for the Summit fool...i was referring to "many" when Kim left LT and went to Baylor... and fromthen LT hasn’t been heard from....
The Summit episode was UGLY... dont know if PAT SUMMIT still had any ability by then. The disease may have eaten her away by thein...horrible disease
