| MBB/WBB šŸ€šŸ† ~ MARCH MADNESS 2024: The Final Four- Purdue vs. UConn (Tonight 8:20 pm on TBS)

If a coach talks an official into reviewing a play and nothing comes of it in terms of a foul, that coach/team should lose all their timeouts. Tired of this shit slowing down the games.

Tennessee is opening a can, NC State took care of Marquette, and Shead is done for Houston. What a day.

Purdue v. Vols would be fin in the sense that one would at least go home. And it would be a bloodbath in the paint with the Vols physical play going up against that oaf Edey.

Duke up 6 with 1:13 left against Houston.
Did McDermott and Creighton go ā€œTriangle & 2ā€ to get back in it against the Viles?

Down goes #1 seed Houston!

I was rooting for Houston, but if Shead would have been out for the Final Four regardless with that ankle injury, Duke winning was for the best probably if there's hope for the Vols to get clipped (assuming NC State's bubble pops and the Vols can get past Purdue).

Well... NC is running Marquette
As a practice I don't wager on NCAA tourney games unless it's in the form of a pool. Last night was a good example as to why. Everyone is good at this stage and it can be difficult to critique matchups.

Considering I normally play one unit per game ...

I would have picked Marquette: - 1
I would have picked 'Zaga: -2 now.
I would have picked Houston: -3 now.
I would have picked Creighton: -4 for the day.

On a different note...

Last year the SEC "won" 17 units for the NCAA tourney. That paid approximately two million per unit.

As of today the SEC has "won" 15 units.

It's up to UT and UA to win today (two more units) and then win one in the FF to reach 18.

If I'm counting right the ACC (with three in the E8) is tied with the SEC at 15 units. It's a remarkable run considering they only had four make "The Dance."
