Tom Izzo has accomplished a lot in nearly 3 decades as the head coach at Michigan State. And the presence of the Spartans in the NCAA Tournament has been a constant during that time: they’ve been to every NCAA Tournament that’s been held since 1998.

One other constant in the Izzo era, though, has been the Spartans’ success over SEC teams. Izzo improved his all-time tournament record against the conference to 10-0 on Friday as MSU beat Ole Miss 73-70.

The Gators stormed back out of nowhere. And waited until the last minute to do it. That was a crazy comeback. Missed 7 3’s in a row and then decided to make 4 in a row. What an ending.

Yeah Florida is so freaking lucky. Went from Billy Donovan, moved on from Mike White, and immediately landed Todd Golden. And even as bad as Mike White was, he still had a good run to the E8.

Golden is three years into his tenure at Florida and now already has a F4. Elite coach.
