Mizzou beats the Vols... and OU beats auburn (pretty easily). auburn has to be on the danger bubble at this point but they are lucky that OU was somehow (for now) a Quad 1 game.
BTW, just noticed. On SECsports.com there's an interview with Wague following their win. I looked at the box score. Over 1/3rd of the points came from ...

I had it on a 2nd screen, no sound (until the baseball game ended)... my thought watching it was Wague won the "hard hat". Looking at his line, that seems to confirm. And I don't care enough to look it up, but auburn's 3 point defense the last few games "feels" like it may be horrid.
I've pointed to Pope at UK after their loss to AU a few times recently. If it wasn't for that game, AU would be on a seven game losing streak and as I see it looking at losing two of their last three.

They were 318th in three-point defense. Avery's teams were notorious for leaving guys wide open and not closing out. SP doesn't have a clue how to coach D.
Yes, and no. They won't get above a #2 seed unless Florida stumbles and loses three of its next four. (Ain't happening.)
UT's loss won't mean anything if Bama loses tonight. They'll both have the same record with UT holding the tiebreaker. Barring a collapse a win tonight should assure the Tide of a top four seed and the susequent two bye dates.
(A win tonight and then a win Saturday against UT? Now we're having a discussion with tiebreakers.)
Their SOS may pull them over the line. Which personally, I wouldn’t have an issue with since I think SOS should be heavily weighted in all sports when it comes to postseason selections. But we are also seeing a rare case with them that it’s a team that has gotten worse as the year wore on (other than that UF win). And they’ve gotten worse without injuries or things that usually impact such. They’ve just flat out fallen apart.

There is one game that if they win would probably put them over the hump. Lets hope Bama does not give them that at the end of the year. First things first, Bama needs to find a way to take down the Viles and screw the Barn .
There's not a lot of news coverage, that I've seen, following Miami OH. If you have missed their season: 29-0, 1st in the MAC. They almost took their first loss last night only winning by two on a last second shot.
Two games remain for them to finish undefeated. They are currently ranked #21 in the AP and a little lower in the Coaches.
The NET has them at #49.
It's a great example showing how little the AP means. Does anyone think they are one of the best 20 teams in the nation or do you believe they are getting the ranking based on the record, the record alone, in spite of against whom?
The brackets currently have them as an 11 seed; 42nd overall, one behind Auburn. Would you take Miami OH over Auburn?
