Michigan is legit but the drop off from Bruce is noticeable. NepoPearl will get a pass for this L, but I'm interested to see how he handles adversity in the middle of SEC play.

Bammerboy, what are you seeing in our defensive rebounding approach? Have we just been outsized? Or are we sending multiple guys the other way when a shot goes up to try and get fast break points? Not backing out consistently? Other? I’m interested in your thoughts?

He'll recruit well which I think will keep them afloat for a bit, but I don't see him lasting more than 6 or 8 seasons.... and he'll get a longer leash than most because of Bruce. It was a lazy hire. I know they are betting on him being Todd Golden 2.0, but that's a bet with really, really bad odds.

Well Gonzaga is destroying Maryland. Not to get upset over a November game, but man it hurts knowing the missed FTs and poor turnovers late in the game yesterday.

I hated to see Bama lose but seeing how Gonzaga drilled Marryland by 39 points makes Bamas loss not so bad.

I'm not a basketball expert by any means. I just watch it religiously. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. I'd be interested in hearing others opinion on it too.

Some of it's fixable. We're not really outsized either. We have a much better wingspan and length this season compared to last year. Sometimes it's an effort thing. Bristow came in yesterday and snagged 11 boards in nearly 20 minutes of play. Compare that to Bol Bowen had four in 14. Bol Bowen against Saint Johns? One shy of a double-double. He just lacks consistency and also doesn't have the strongest hands. Multiple times it looked like he was coming down the ball, for it to be poked out by Ike or Huff. Have to put both hands on the ball. Physically too, we rarely box out and get out of position underneath to allow the second chance opportunity. This is where Sherrell struggled (he did better than Gonzaga than against Purdue). He's just physical or athletic enough. Neither is Williamson.

I think our guards actually do a good job crashing the glass. Holloway is undersized but yet he actually was seen going after multiple loose balls last night. Two went off his hands unfortunately. Allen, Mallete, and Hannah (why did he only gett four minutes yesterday?) are consistent in their effort when crashing the glass.

Another thing we do too I notice is ball watch and not worry about their man. Kills any chance we have when you lose the guy you're on.
