I saw someone mention they'd seen this game open around Bama -6.

On another note...I hated 11 AM games when I lived in Tuscaloosa. It's not so bad when it's noon, eastern.

I prefer it now. It gets our game out of the way, then we can enjoy the rest of Saturday basketball.

Tennessee and Arkansas tip off at Bud Walton right after our game. Other than that, it's a relatively tame Saturday for CBB.

Will be a big game for Alabama. UK's defense struggled mightily vs Gonzaga and Louisville. They lost at home to UNC. It has not been pretty for Mark Pope but they have rebounded well with decent wins over IU and St Johns. UK still has length to disrupt Alabama on the boards and close out driving lanes. Philon has had incredible performances vs Pope, so hopefully he can come out with another solid performance. Just hope he's not too injured and can't play.

I worry if Sherrell gets into foul trouble how Alabama will perform without him. Noah Williamson cannot get on the court against these guys. He is going to be so overwhelmed. Bristow and Bol Bowen will likely play some 5.

UVA and NC State play at the same time as Bama. That should be competitive. We'll learn something about UofSC this weekend. AU in Athens has the makings of a good game.

I doubt I'll watch much tomorrow (too nice outside.) It's likely I'll just listen to Bama: very likely. I grew tired of Jay Bilas some time ago. I don't know if I'd call this crew the "C team." I'd rather have boudin than Kris ... I digress.

Casually looking at this game ...

-5.5 seems low. Just doin' mental math gives me @ -10.
On the other hand 175.5 TL seems about two or three points high.

But, what do I know...

Bilas called this one "a great pass by Sherrell." I was laughing because he lost control and slapped the ball out to Mallette.

We are lighting them up. My god Pope has a awful D. But Biz is feeling it, Mallete looks good. The ball was moving very well.

Hated how we ended the half. Up 21 with a 1:40 to go and allowed them to score 10 to close the gap to 16. Awful D.
