We actually rebounded fairly well last night. Amari Allen and London Jemison both had 11.
Problem was just garbage defense, poor shot selection, and Alabama turning it over at a high clip. I understand the concept of Oats' scheme, but there is zero reason Bol Bowen should be taking five three points attempts. Swing the ball better. Also rotations really didn't make much sense. I thought Wrightsell played too much.
So depth perception ...Most of his shots were short and hit front rim all night.
for Memorial Gym? Yep!! It's crazy how a set up not even close to the floor can screw with your depth perception. I recall when I coached, we would always suck ass playing at Talladega HS. Their gym sits in the middle of their school, like a rotunda. You didn't have the traditional four walls. I recall playing in Bartow areana my senior year and struggling in the first half. The distance in color of those four walls was the issue. So depth perception ...![]()
It goes both ways. Coincidentally, a gym I've played in a few times in Nashville was in a cracker box on the end lines and corners. 8", maybe. They had a dashed line inside the playing court to represent the space you had on in-bounds. The stands were between the hash marks...straight up. Weird, weird set up but I couldn't seem to miss in that place.for Memorial Gym? Yep!! It's crazy how a set up not even close to the floor can screw with your depth perception. (Weird school. College prep that was in White ____ outside of Nashville. Ironically, they lost tax exempt status back in the early '70's ... as I recall they couldn't defend admissions weren't on racial lines. Scholarshipped teams.)

Here's coincidence for ya. I happened to see the box of my old yearbooks from school yesterday when I was putting a few things up for the season. So, I went back and looked since you have asked.White House?

Just when I'm starting to get used to the idea that Texas is a part of the SEC I read this and it just doesn't read right. I know it's true; but it strikes me as, well, odd. I was three years old. This will be the first trip the Longhorns make to Tuscaloosa since 1970.
How much weight does a close road loss to UCONN mean when you lose to State at home as a double digit favorite?Texas played UConn fairly close.
