🏀 GAME THREAD 🏀 #25 Alabama vs. #20 Arkansas - Bama Wins Double-OT Thriller against Arkansas, 117-115

A bit of a shock to see this disparity.

Bama: Avg 91.1 per game at home, 92.4 on the road.
UArk: Avg 94.1 at home, 82 on the road.

I thought that was wild until I saw Louisville with a 13 point disparity in home versus away. (Auburn is at 14.)

Just a side note: In adjusted offensive efficiency (PPP for every 100) Bama is averaging 128. That's two points higher than the FF team. (Just under 78 possessions per game; a top five ranking in the nation.)

Cal calls a TO to stop a run and the hogs go on 9-0 run Oats needs to take some notes.
He's in his seventh year here. He will never learn. Oats is a fantastic recruiter and offensive minded coach, but he does not know defense. He has an old mindset that defense is just "playing hard". That's why he never calls a timeout.

Defense in today's world is a lot more than just playing tough. You have to understand the opponents scheme, communicate on switches (which we don't do), and be fundamentally sound (something we never have been).
