As in previous years, this thread will be updated as roster news happens. The transfer portal for college basketball opens on April 7th and closes on April 21st. But many players will announce their intentions to transfer beforehand. We will keep the thread updated with all the news, possible roster additions and subtractions. Even though some moves like Philon to the NBA are stone cold locks, I won't update each player and the roster until news becomes official.

Hopefully Alabama. Allen's drop in the mock draft gets him to come back.

I still think Alabama needs to operate under the assumption that Holloway will not be back, so they have to go after a point man with elite ball handling skills.

Oats is really good at getting guys back who need to come back... and now he has the Bediako card as an "I told you so..." that he can play. IMO, 85% chance Allen is back at UA. Like others, he will put his name in, get feedback, do the workouts, but return.

Yeah I definitely think he comes back. It was comforting to hear Suttles say he's either here or will pursue the NBA. And with Philon coming back and improving his stock, he absolutely should return.

Regarding Bediako and now Allen...

What does Allen have to do with this I'm curious? Maybe I'm missing something. If passed... It would be effective this fall.....

I did mean ADEN Holloway. I have the dreaded CRS disease too.

Figured as much... I think there's a good chance Holloway returns unless he wants to just get away and have a change of scenery (which would stem from the arrest, not anything to do with Oats or the team. But from what I understand, if UA gives the all clear, Oats will welcome him back. And based on some past cases involving students and drugs, there's certainly a chance that UA clears him to return. Just have to wait and see though...

Nothing...yet. I suspect he's going to try to take the path Philon took last year where he will entert the draft, realize near the deadline that he won't get drafted (not where he wants), and come back.
Okay, I think I'm tracking what you're saying though. From my understanding if the proposal is accepted, it would kicked in this fall.

I don't know if I like this proposal.....

As much as the team needs him returning at point guard with his experience and his level of play. I have doubts about him. Some say that he made a "mistake". I wonder how long he has been making that same "mistake"? Does the program drug test their players? Or is that not a thing anymore? How long has he been smoking reefer? How long has he been buying, probably kilos, (2 1/2 lbs), selling enough to be able to smoke for free? That is an assumption on my part, but a reasonable one. He being caught with more than 2 lbs is more than a "mistake" in my view, more like a lifestyle. Smoking reefer can and does tend to take away some of a persons motivation. Makes me wonder about some of the other players.
