Oh, I care! I just don’t bother to get on here for game threads. I like to watch, wait until the game is over, then give my opinion.
I probably need to move to a live chat and make a sidebar permanant...just kill game threads. I don't know how a sidebar is going to show up on mobile.

Game threads have sorta been passed by because everyone is getting the game at different times depending on their provider.

What do I know...I've been thinking about adding zombies to the avatars just to mess with a few

I do not post at all for game threads for football and only occassionally for basketball. Just to distracting and usually the team is doing something that could cause me to regret my post :)...
I just post my opinion with what I'm seeing as it's happening. Maybe that's why people say misinterpret the game threads as to what I'm saying. I'll literally make a comment about poor defense or poor shot selection as it's happening, then others will come back later and be like "wow dude we literally won by 50". Scoreboard and stats rarely tell the full story.

It would be nice to chat with others during the game, but I understand life happens and/or not everyone wants too. I haven't been able to comment on every game because of I'm a newly proud dad of twins or military duties. Regardless, I don't judge people who do or don't post in game threads. I'm not posting with the hope I'm the only one in here (or talking to myself). Would like for others to chime in from time to time.

This comment just rubbed me the wrong way.
Damn he had whole conversation with himself on this thread.

I didn’t get to see the game yesterday due to prior obligations, read into that supervision of a high school game. When I do watch, I get so frustrated with our lack of defense, it drives me crazy or crazier. I’d just like to see somebody, anybody stop the ball when the opposing team drives to the basket, someone slide over and play help defense and rebound. We do not do any of those things very well and a lot of time no at all. Personally, I’d rather score 50-60 points a game with outstanding defense than to average 90+ and rely on the offense being hot or cold. Just my opinion.

Not I. We lived through those days under Grant, and they were miserable. Florida is showing you can play at our pace while being elite on D. Just have put more emphasis on bigs and find a good defensive assistant to do it. Alabama was a very good defensive squad in '22-'23 and in '20-'21.

I just think it's time for the Brian Adams experiment to end and Oats find a defensive coach in the college ranks.

Consider the source and move on....

I don't want the Grant years back at all but I would like to see us play better defense.

A bit of a shock to see this disparity.

Bama: Avg 91.1 per game at home, 92.4 on the road.
UArk: Avg 94.1 at home, 82 on the road.

I thought that was wild until I saw Louisville with a 13 point disparity in home versus away. (Auburn is at 14.)

Just a side note: In adjusted offensive efficiency (PPP for every 100) Bama is averaging 128. That's two points higher than the FF team. (Just under 78 possessions per game; a top five ranking in the nation.)
