Amari Allen legit might be my favorite player on the team. He just locked up Hubbard, played the switch perfectly, and then beats the double team for an easy bucket to Sherrell.

It's like a 47-17 run for Alabama right now. Up 62-48. Alabama just needs a big 10-0 run to break their spirits.

And there is that atrocious transition D we have seen all year from Alabama. Just four Alabama players sitting around not doing anything, which leads to another and-one. By the way, Alabama is one of the worst teams in the country in preventing and-one opportunities. It's like they're coached to be soft around the rim and pick up soft fouls. I don't get it. If you're going to foul, foul hard.

So sick and tired of continuously watching piss poor defense. Some of this is high school level shit.

Like it's not just his ability to find the soft spot in the defense. His vision and ability to facilitate is unreal. When he is locked in like this, Alabama is Elite 8/Final Four potential. When he's not, Alabama's potential is not that high. He has to get consistent like this.

Kind of wild that turned into a 3. Mallette cut from the baseline for an easy two, but just didn't go up for the basket.

Game has turned for the better but still a TON of issues to work on. Perimeter defense is nonexistent. State has missed a ton of open looks. Transition defense again is just so bad. I legit have never seen a team so disinterested in getting back. Rebounding has been 50/50. Sherrell has had some tough ones, but then has two straight possessions where he gives zero effort. Consistency on this team just seems to be a problem, unless your name is Allen or Jemison.

Lot of positives though. Down 29-15 and I think Alabama went on a 47-17 run. Once Alabama settled in, guys like Holloway, Allen, and Philon started to realize that their guards cannot stay in front of them. Passing and spacing is phenomenal tonight.

Need to be a little better finishing the game out here. Seems rather lackluster finishing here at the end of this game.
