🏀 GAME THREAD 🏀 2025-26 Season Archived Game Threads.

I got curious. There's no ML on the game tonight. Bama is -32.5.

I noticed a parlay on ESPNBet that has the total tonight at Over 168.5 with a few other legs.

What's a little crazy is you can find some BIG money lines tonight. You might look at Vandy playing Lipscomb and see -20,000. Okay, right? But then you look at Bethune-Cookman...who is playing Auburn with that ML at -100,000. Geez.

Maybe we just do a week of shoot around and walkthrough? Their defense isn't getting better with all these hard practices, could at least make their shots and health better.

Pretty obvious at this point those off season retreats at Soggy Bottom Lodge are nothing more than staged photo events. If this team had done those things for real, 3/4 of them would have been permanently disabled or dead before the sun came up on day 2.

Wonder if Oats will be fired for cause or just suspended without pay for a few weeks when his underground, Lower Gym Team Fight Club is eventually discovered.
I listen to the BlueCollar Podcast. I remember before the Vegas tournament, Emliee Smarr (spell check?) for Tuscaloosa News says the practices are very physical and tough. It's a weird situation because Oats has definitely instilled more toughness with the program because of how his practices are run. Do you sacrifice the foundation of how you run the program and the toughness you want to instill to prevent injuries? Or do you restructure what you've done since Buffalo and risk losing that toughness.

They certainly are, or at least used to be not long ago. I doubt he's changed. Everything is about being tough. Can't rebound? You're not as tough as you need to be (nevermind it might have something to do with positioning or not boxing out). He wears them down and wears them out at times. But it's gotten him this far and he hasn't changed yet... doubt he ever will. On the flip side, I think at times, a couple of guys need to toughen up and just play with some pain.
