🏀 GAME THREAD 🏀 2025-26 Season Archived Game Threads.

I got curious. There's no ML on the game tonight. Bama is -32.5.

I noticed a parlay on ESPNBet that has the total tonight at Over 168.5 with a few other legs.

What's a little crazy is you can find some BIG money lines tonight. You might look at Vandy playing Lipscomb and see -20,000. Okay, right? But then you look at Bethune-Cookman...who is playing Auburn with that ML at -100,000. Geez.

The freshman class is really good. I love Davion Hannah. Amari Allen will find consistency shooting, but he was damn good everywhere else. Him, Jamison, and Hannah are going to be fun to watch grown. All three were active. Hannah's vertical is incredible.

Tons of deflections on D due to our length. Really hope that continues and we can create a shit ton of turnovers that lead to transition buckets.

Dumb turnovers later in the game. Lot of mental errors that could have been avoided. Defense still is a big work in progress. I hoped to see Bol Bowen be a lot more physical than what he showed. He seemed to back down a lot on D and did not show any toughness offensively.

Offense passed the ball very well. Ball movement looked good besides a few possessions. ST. Johns will likely force way more turnovers.

Philon is the best downhill slasher we've had under Oats IMO.

I'll say it again too (and probably step on toes here) but the people who work on Alabama's pregame and in-game festivities totally suck. It's almost as if they're trying to create a mundane atmosphere. Fuck whoever is in charge. I'll still attend games because that's the fan I am and I choose to still support the program. However, I think the athletic department could do a whole lot more for the fans than what they're giving.

So happy basketball season is back. Nothing like it. 1000005379.jpg

I doubt that is going to hurt any feelings around here. It's not a good atmosphere and the arena sucks. The DJ guy really gets on my nerves. He's at the football games too, but the atmosphere is much better there (especially for night games) and he can't even screw it up.

I hate Coleman Coliseum so much. It is such an awful place to watch a basketball game. And the attendance for this game wasn't even bad, but it's a 15K seat arena. Meaning we could have 11-12K, and that still leaves thousands of empty seats, which is an eye sore.
