🏀 GAME THREAD 🏀 2025-26 Season Archived Game Threads.

I got curious. There's no ML on the game tonight. Bama is -32.5.

I noticed a parlay on ESPNBet that has the total tonight at Over 168.5 with a few other legs.

What's a little crazy is you can find some BIG money lines tonight. You might look at Vandy playing Lipscomb and see -20,000. Okay, right? But then you look at Bethune-Cookman...who is playing Auburn with that ML at -100,000. Geez.

That was game 1 of a tough ass 4 game stretch, and Bama starts it off 1-0. To give an idea how tough the 4 game stretch is, earlier this week KenPom had Bama losing all 4 of them. Maybe UA ends up going 1-3 now, but IMO there are not too many teams in the country better than this Tide suad right now.

A couple of things that stood out today...

Bama only committed 7 turnovers. Amari Allen was +19. Wrightsell was +17. UA scored at least 50 in both halves, against a Pitino team... how often does that happen?

Roll Tide!

Taking their 2nd half punch without flinching was top drawer. That tells me this team has a great season ahead of it. We looked much faster on offense and defense moved well. Hit a little wall scoring and allowed them back in it, but any top tier team is gonna push you at some point. Great win.

Turnovers were reasonable.
I think at one point, Alabama had only 4 turnovers to Saint John's 8. Wrightsell, Holloway, and Philon are the exact type of elite guards you need to make a title run.

Mallette and Allen had a great game too. Both were so freaking active closing out blocks and creating second chance opportunities. Gonna love to rewatch this game because Allen had incredible on-ball D.

Alabama's got a damn good team. Ton of depth in the backcourt with a lot more length.

Would this be the biggest Bama has had? With Coach Oats?
It definitely ranks. That final was a tie for the most points a Bama team has scored against a top-10 team in program history.
Seriously asking here, do people take betting advice from Outkick?
I tend to watch most give their opinions on spreads. I don't remember having read one from him. Didn't they have some partnership with one of the fantasy groups? DK, or FD, maybe?

A wild, purely idle, thought.

In basketball the defense allowed 1.12 per possession. If football yesterday, it was less than 1 per (11 drives, 9 points.)
