Tipton just posted, the guy doubled down even more on this claim. Tipton who I respect for his information said both his sources at UNC and Bama do not back up these claims. I don't think the guy is lying about the financial advisor telling him this or the agent, but those guys have a vested interest in making it seem like AJ choose a school for specific reasons that weren't $$ related. Otherwise he just looks like he's in it for the $$..which is starting to look more and more the case. He certainly had a lot of people fooled, including the staff and players here.

I don't follow recruiting as much as I used to do...but, like I mentioned when merging the threads...it never made any sense to me.

I didn’t read the article . Does he have ties to that area ?

Or does he just like the idea of polygamy ?

Myself , I love it. It’s just wife # one I can’t convince that the senond with could take a lot of the chores off her plate.

By no means am I claiming "insider." There was a reason I chose to merge the threads. There was no confidence. None.

There was a lot of confidence from our insiders. Alabama did as well as any program could have. If NIL wasn't a factor, he'd been at Alabama.

No one, other than BYU and AJ, knew he'd sign there until the day prior.

Not even close to being true. And if your source is a financial advisor that helped him get signed with BYU, it's not a very good sourge to begin with. Alabama doesn't have the best NIL game. It's better than expected, but we can't go out and lock in a top 10 recruit because of our NIL.

The amazing part of it all he already had deals with Nike and Red Bull... he's going to have companies lining up to throw money at him in the hopes that he will sign on and stay with them if/when his NBA career takes off. But, I can't really blame him either. There's no guarantee of a long and successful NBA career, and that's a lot of easy money to turn down before you even make that step.

What are you saying here? I have never claimed "sources." I will claim I have friends who contribute, heavily, to the basketball program. I was told no. He ain't landing here. The stories are bullshit.

We were in our mid to late 20’s and our relationship was pretty good. It revolved around work and booger sugar on weekends. I had to cut out because i was ready to get away from the powder and they weren’t. If not for that id still be living it up. Well that and getting married and having kids with another woman.

We loved blind willies in atlanta and would party there like 2 weekends a month. That place was lit in the early to mid 90’s.
