Philon is getting into a groove offensively. Been able to go downhill and find soft spots in the D.

I mean we're up, but I'm not really happy if I'm Oats. Alabama got up 10 and 7 and just completely gave up on defense. Allowed TN to get right back into the game. TN has made more 3s than us and actually is doing a good job offensively to attack Alabama.

Bediako is providing a much needed spark and has affected their decision to drive. Also his presence around the rim finally gives teams to respect the alley opp.

Alabama was pushed way off the 3 point line. Probably only has two good looks all game. But it's allowed Alabama to get down hill and get to the line. Maybe they'll take advantage of their foul trouble. Just hope this game doesn't turn into a repeat of Arizona. I did not like how TN was shooting from 3 and how piss poor our guys did defensively.

Lastly, if you go to a basketball game, is it too much to ask for you to cheer? I don't know if anyone noticed, but Oats was actually trying to get the fans to stand up and cheer. Instead, it was like they were at a funeral. Why even buy a ticket if you're not going to support the guys who work their ass off to provide entertainment for you. It's a Saturday night game against a heated rival. Why does it sound like we're down 50?

I have always thought our fans are terrible basketball fans. All the blue hairs in the good seats sit there trying to show off their quarterzips and loafers rather than cheering on their team and being a difference maker. One of the worst home court advantages I have seen.

I also hate that massive media space in prime territory where fans could sit.

Full disclosure - I wear quarterzips and loafers too, but I don't wear them as a status symbol or to show off money/title/importance.

Point made on the former. I wouldn't know about the latter. I'm a teacher. Most every male teacher wears Hokas or Nike. Our board members don't wear them.
