Agree 100%, opening day should be day games or early afternoon. Money drives it all though.

It eliminates some nuance from the game but it is helpful in terms of making sure the correct call was made in critical situations (if used correctly).

I saw this yesterday and it 'hit home.' This covers my K-5 year/1st grade year when I started playing Little League thought getting into high school play. It was a period where I fanatically followed the infield of Russell, Garvey, Cey, and Davey Lopes.

It's one of those "childhood hero has passed away stories." Oh man, did people HATE on the Dodgers back then! Frankly, it prepared me for life as a Bama fan.
