According to multiple sources on twitter a la Cecil Hurt and Izzy Gould Barrett is coming back for his last season! Now question is does he move to center? And if so, like someone else said in another thread, does he earn All-American honors at every position on the line?

I think this is huge for us, huge! Now if just one or more join him it would be awesome. :a:

I agree Sandra. You might recall how high I was on Barrett when he signed.

Now, back to the statement you made...

Cyrus and DJ bookending the OL with Barrett in the middle? Seriously.

We are going to run the ball at you. Yes, over and over again. Stop us.

That's 2012.

Imagine having a resume that's a Master's, likely Phd., along with an Outland Trophy, All-American honors and what's likely to be the 2012 Rimington Award for the nation's best center to boot?!?!?

Oh, Chance is back as well? Oh chit. I've not seen too many complaints on Steen as well.

We average about 430 yards on offense as it is. Next season?

when is his masters degree complete? smart guy, enjoying being in college one more year - he is gonna be successful at whatever he does.
Great question i been wondering that myself does anyone know?

Yeah I was in the boonies when I got a text saying this, def. made my new years a bit better! If he can play center and play it well, go for it! Either way I dont see how we can keep Cyrus on the bench next year, u just cant NOT play that type of talent.

There are only two questions left on the OL for next season as I see it. One, is it going to be Vogler or Jones that steps into the other TE role? My guess right now is we see Vogler in our true two-TE sets and see Jones in his traditional H-back position. The other question is all about back-up roles. I'm seeing Chad playing all three interior positions next year.
