🏈 Barn is on FIRE!!!

Too bad someone didn't press him on what those expectations are. Considering he's been suspended a few times...I don't imagine those are very high expectations. I can respect the coaches for doing everything they can to get him on the right track, but the Crimson colored glasses I wear suggest it could be for other reasons...

“When individuals fail to meet the expectations of our program, there has to be consequences,” Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said.

Yeah, I heard Dismukes tried to keep that tradition alive.
He just allegedly called two black students, twin siblings, a brother and sister, the N word in McDonalds and assaulted the brother. We also have his alleged racial comments to thank for one of our linebackers' decommitt from the barn. What a complete pos

This kid made some terrible decisions that will probably haunt him the rest of his life. I do love the turmoil in arbrin, but at the end of the day, they are kids, or at best, immature men. I wonder what will happen to him now. These coaches are like parents to these kids. It would be the equivalent of you kicking your child out of the house or letting them sit in jail for a few days, instead of bailing them out after 2 hours. It's easier said than done. You know it needs to be done, but you want to make sure you have given them every opportunity to right the ship before you do it. It's just ashamed he let all of his talent go right down the toilet. I hope someone kicks his ass (and they will) and he figures it out before he goes to prison or gets killed. I don't feel sorry for him, as a college athlete, or an arbin player, but as a young man trying to find his way, and acted like a complete jackass and thug in the process. It wasn't necessary. Good luck to him.

At 18-19 my late father would have let me sit in jail or whatever over shitty choices like that. As the father of several children (including a few college grads and 1 USMC veteran) that is the path I have taken also. Actions have consequences and in most of these cases these guys have been allowed to live consequence free due to "someone" shielding them from those consequences.

Don't dare claim he is just a kid. That BS line doesn't cut it. I said the same thing when Bama players punched some nerd for his wallet. Williams has had multiple incidents and wasn't arrested because he was a football player. A cop was there

College athletes need to set an example. At the least, be better than average. He wasn't. He already had issues and he was on a shorter leash. As a result he needs to learn the consequences. He will have to go somewhere to play at least one more season before he can declare for the NFL (if he's good enough).

I have heard that the person on the receiving end of the punch at Skybar was one of my former students.

As far as going somewhere else to play another year @OldPlayer, Williams is done as far as eligibility goes. He will have to find a trainer or training academy to go to and prepare for next Springs' draft.

I saw an article that said he's been there 1 1/2 years so I assumed he had more eligibility (I know what happens when you ass u me. Don't beat me up about it). If that's the case, he's probably happy he doesn't have to risk his health.
