🏈 Barn Billboard - Atlanta

I was on my way into work this morning up the connector, and just north of Turner Field, there it was, in all of it's blue and orange ugliness, some sort of advertisement for , gulp, the Barn. Couldn't really read it as it just caught the corner of my eye, does anyone know what it said or what it was for?

It is an AuNeck billboard advertising for football players to come be a Tiger. Kind of AA if you ask me. The current AuNeck spin is that it is an advertisement for students or athletes but it isn't tilted one way or the other to any specific target.

You must then ask yourself why there is a big football helmet with the API logo superimposed above a floating picture of Pat Dye's head. There is one here in the Birmingham area up by St. Vincent's Hospital.

Just kidding about Pat Dye's head but, it is definitely for recruits with the big football helmet and all. It says "Choose Auburn" in the corner.

Choose Auburn + a football helmet? Hmmm. They are in all the cities around the area. One is in Atlanta, one is in Birmingham, one is in Huntsville, one is in Mobile, one is in Montgomery, one is in the Chilton county area. They are believed to be in New Orleans and Mississippi also.

You have to give it to the AuNecks, they are innovative. From the rented 80's Limo to Big Cat Weekend to Stars and Stripes, they are pushing the envelope.

How are they doing in recruiting this season?

There is another one in Duluth on Pleasant Hill Road headed East rigth before you get to Buford Highway.. I thought maybe auburn was trying to get a recruit from Norcross High School

Yeah I saw the sign not too far outside of Turner field and a couple of more on our way to Birmingham. I thought it was cheesy as hell and even my Auburn friend laughed a little.

There is two on the interstate just outside of Aubrun....I have been having fun picking on my Aubrun friends. The sign is just cheezy. :shock::lol:

I'm sure that is just because they were too cheap to get their own billboard and reused a Chik-Fil-A one instead. It is their business school, after all. It's their way of making money!:lol:
